Mimi joined us in April 2025 after more than seven years as the Administrator for American Public Works Northern California Chapter.  She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing. 

During her “free” time, you can find Mimi busy spending time with her husband (our very own William Lai) and their two kids and two dogs, volunteering at the kids’ school, serving on the Board of Directors for her local Little League, or binging on her fix of Real Housewives reality shows or Disney movies.  Her weekends are usually filled with taking her kids to their sporting activities or eating out at their favorite local restaurants.  She also enjoys drinking an iced caramel latte, going to Disneyland, watching musicals, rooting on the SF Giants, Warriors, and 49ers, and likes to wind down her day with a Coke Cola in hand.
