PAKPOUR CONSULTING GROUP TO COMPLETE A WATER MASTER PLAN FOR THE SNOWSHOE SPRINGS WATER DISTRICT

PLEASANTON, CA, December 12, 2005 — The Snowshoe Springs Water District located in Calaveras County has retained Pakpour Consulting Group, Inc. (www.pcgengr.com) to complete a Water Master Plan. Joubin Pakpour, P.E. president of Pakpour Consulting Group, made the announcement.

Snowshoe Springs is located 25 miles northeast of the town of Angels Camp along highway 4 and provides domestic water storage and distribution to approximately 360 homes in the area. The subdivision consists of smaller A-frame homes constructed in the early 60‘s as vacation homes. Increasingly over the last 5 years these structures have been replaced by larger multi-story homes, increasing the need for water supply and fire protection.

Pakpour Consulting Group will be responsible for completing a water master plan for Snowshoe Springs. The scope of work includes evaluating water demand data along with the existing storage and distribution system. Pakpour Consulting Group will develop a hydraulic model of the distribution system and will propose a phased replacement program over the next 15 years that will adequately meet the fire protection needs of the area. Pakpour Consulting Group will also consolidate and update District maps and provide as needed design services for the upgrades.
